Hans brings over four decades of experience in elite soccer instruction and youth development, both in Europe and the United States. He began his career studying at the prestigious Sports College (CIOS) in the Netherlands (1978–1981), earning a Bachelor’s in Physical Education with a specialization in soccer. He holds a UEFA A License and is certified by the KNVB Academy to instruct youth development courses.

From 1981 to 1983, Hans served as a Sports Instructor in the Dutch Army, followed by nearly two decades (1984–2002) as a Sports Instructor in the Netherlands’ correctional facilities, under the Ministry of Justice. Alongside these roles, he served as Technical Director for several amateur clubs and coached youth teams at the professional level for FC Eindhoven, FC Dordrecht, Sparta Rotterdam, and Ajax Amsterdam, working with players aged 8 to 18.

From 2004 to 2014, Hans led the Dutch Soccer School as Technical Director, sharing the Dutch player development philosophy with aspiring athletes in the U.S. His extensive coaching background, leadership, and commitment to long-term player growth make him a highly respected figure in international youth soccer.
