Great way to have some summer fun while building technique using the format that developed some of the world’s greatest players. Using the futsal format helps to quickly develop the skills required for soccer, such as motor functions, agility, coordination, ball mastery, accuracy, awareness, and speed of thought.
The small-sided format is exciting and fast paced, with players getting a lot of touches and many goal scoring opportunities in a shorter span of time.
* Players will participate in activities barefoot throughout the majority of this camp on clean, safe artificial turf, sport-court, and sand.
Here are the benefits of playing barefoot (or “earthing” as some say):
- Improves so many tiny structures in a child’s foot and increases the stimulation of the feet, ankles, knees, and legs
- Arches, bone and muscle strength, ligament flexibility and stability all increase
- Helps to avoid developing flat feet
- Stimulation of the brain as it increases the quality and quantity of input to all areas of the brain
- Develops spatial awareness
- Develops safe body/control movement
- Develops balance, postural stability, and coordination
- Effective tool to support nervous system regulation
