MANYA PUPPIONE

College Recruiting Director

Manya Puppione became George Mason women’s soccer head coach in July 2021 before leaving in 2024 and joining VA Revolution. Previously, she coached at Marymount University and served as an assistant at the University of Maryland. Her playing career was distinguished, having played with 13 members of the 2015 US World Cup champions team, including FIFA World Players of the Year Marta and Carli Lloyd. Puppione represented US national teams at multiple age levels, played professionally in the NWSL, and competed internationally in Iceland and Finland. She holds academic achievements from Arizona State University.

 

 

COLLEGE PATHWAY SERVICES

VA Revolution SC provides college recruitment services to rising Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors.

This program entails:

  • Parent Seminars
  • College Showcase Months and
  • Individual Parent/Player Recruitment Sessions

*Player Evaluations will be request-only for an additional fee. Evaluations will be conducted by college recruiters.

PARENT & PLAYER SEMINARS

Parent and player seminars will be conducted multiple times during the soccer year. These seminars are put together to help guide parents and players through the various aspects of finding a college soccer program and the proper communication required to be recruited.

COLLEGE ID SESSIONS

Players will have the opportunity to play in front of college coaches. Each sessions will consist of:

  • 1 hour training session and games run by college coaches.
  • Q&A with college coaches.

MEETINGS & EVALUATIONS

Players will have the ability to meet with VRSC College Advisors and discuss their college pathway options. Players also have the ability to receive a College Player Evaluation from one of our VRSC advisors.

Player Evaluations will be request-only for an additional fee.
