Originally from Williamsburg, Virginia, Justin Wilson played three seasons at Christopher Newport University (DIII) before transferring to Longwood University (DI), where he earned an MBA in General Business.

Following his collegiate career, Wilson served as an assistant coach at Shenandoah University (2022-23) and competed in USL League Two with Reading United and Peoria City. In 2024, he helped Peoria City secure the Central Conference Championship and reach the 2024 USL League Two National Final, where he scored in the final before falling in overtime.

His favorite player is Clint Dempsey, and if given the chance to meet a historic figure, it would be George Best.
