Coach Alex brings more than 20 years of coaching experience and a lifelong passion for soccer, with a strong belief in futsal as a foundation for player development. He has worked with players across multiple age groups, and his focus is on individual development: improving ball control, footwork, passing, quick decision-making, and confidence in tight spaces.

Alex holds a U.S. Soccer D License and a U.S. Soccer National Youth License, and has completed the U.S. Soccer Grassroots licensing courses. He is currently pursuing his U.S. Soccer C License.

A committed advocate of futsal at younger ages, Alex believes it is one of the best ways to develop the technical side of the game. He has also led teams to prestigious international tournaments, including the Dorada Cup (Spain), San Marino Cup (Italy), and Donosti Cup (Spain and France), giving players valuable exposure to different styles of play and cultures.

His coaching philosophy starts with understanding each player and creating a positive, challenging environment where they can learn, make mistakes, and improve. Alex takes a player-centered, educational approach focused on developing technically sound, tactically aware, and confident players. He believes youth sports build confidence, character, and a sense of accomplishment while teaching teamwork, respect, and unity, and he emphasizes long-term development and personal growth so young athletes can reach their full potential and become positive representatives of the sport and their community.
