Winter Rec
The VRSC Rec program is our foundational program designed for kids of all skill levels (Kindergarten through 6th Grade). Players are grouped by age to create a fun, inclusive environment focused on fundamentals.
We will be offering both Indoor and Outdoor Rec programs from December 2026 – Feburary 2027.
There will be no weekend games for Winter Rec. Players will train on their selected practice days RavenTek Park (outdoor) or Hoops Plus (indoor)
INDOOR FUTSAL v OUTDOOR REC
Indoor Fustsal
Futsal is a fast-paced, small-sided variant of soccer played on a hard court with a smaller, low-bounce ball. The compact playing surface and reduced team sizes (typically 5v5) force players into tighter spaces, demanding quicker decision-making, closer ball control, and constant movement.
The program will be focused on building core fundamentals, including rules, rotations, skills, and court movement. Weekly sessions will range from 45mins – 1 hour emphasizing skill development, there will be no tournament or competition play.
Indoor Futsal will be held at Hoops Plus on indoor basketball courts, exclusively reserved during our time slots to provide a focused, uninterrupted training environment.
