FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LEESBURG, VA, April 10, 2025 Virginia Revolution SC is excited to announce its selection as the exclusive Washington D.C./Northern Virginia host for the Elite German Soccer Camp Series, a national initiative bringing official coaches from the German Football Federation (DFB) to top youth soccer clubs across the United States. This five-day immersive training experience will take place July 14-18, 2025 at RavenTek Park, home of Virginia Revolution, offering serious youth players (birth years 2008–2016) the rare opportunity to train under Europe’s most accomplished youth development professionals.

The summer camp is part of a larger initiative led by Global Soccer Development (GSD), an organization specializing in elite youth development and international training experiences with professional clubs. GSD has partnered with the DFB, the governing body behind Germany’s four FIFA World Cup titles, to bring cutting-edge European methodology to aspiring American players.

“To host this camp at RavenTek Park is a huge opportunity for our players,” said Christian Cziommer, Technical Director of Virginia Revolution SC. “Germany’s player development model has proven success at the world’s highest level. We’re excited to bring that same excellence to our community and offer our players direct access to that level of training.”

The Elite German Soccer Camp focuses on key pillars of the German system: technical precision, tactical intelligence, mental resilience, and joy for the game. Each participant will receive an official Adidas training kit and train in a high-energy, professional setting with certified DFB coaches using Europe’s most current development framework.
