Eric Davey

Eric Davey is our Director of Player Development at VA Revolution, bringing with him 20 years of coaching experience. He has held the position of Director of Coaching (DOC) at FC Virginia for the last 15 years, overseeing programs in the ECNL, Development Academy, and Girls Academy. Eric is also a former owner of FC Virginia. His coaching qualifications include a Coerver Master Diploma, USYS Level 3 Futsal State License, USSF C License, TFV German C License, and he is currently a candidate for the UEFA B License.

As Director of Player Development, Eric will play a vital role in designing and executing player development strategies, including training programs, staff support, player pathways, evaluations, collaboration, parent education, and competition management. Eric will also be coaching our GA (Girls Academy) teams. This role is pivotal in nurturing talent and creating a positive learning environment.

Eric enjoys spending time with his family in Salamina, Greece, and his favorite Football club is Olympiakos.

Eric will begin his role in June.
