Michael holds a USSF National D License (U7–U12) as well as USSF 11v11, 9v9, 7v7, and 4v4 Licenses, providing a strong foundation for age-appropriate player development across all youth formats. With five years of youth soccer coaching experience working with athletes from U8-U13, including two years with VA Revolution assistant coaching U12–U13, Coach Michael is passionate about helping young players develop both their skills and their love for the game.

His coaching philosophy centers on creating a positive, safe, and supportive environment where players feel empowered to learn and grow. Michael believes that at a young age, it is essential for players to have the courage to try new things, remain curious, and embrace challenges without fear of failure. He views mistakes as valuable learning opportunities that help grow as a player, build resilience, and gain a deeper understanding of the game.

Above all, Michael’s goal is to share his joy and passion for soccer with every player, fostering a lifelong love of the sport while helping each athlete reach their full potential.
